Um, Now What?
Jan. 10th, 2007 09:39 amI had a full schedule of work set for today: build some servers, continue training our new recruit, and coordinate an ongoing sarbox project with various clients & customers. Just another day in paradise.
The server build project has been put on hold: the application owners have been called off to a crisis project so the deployment of these new machines is suspended for a few weeks. The new guy is still slogging through the information I gave him yesterday. The coordination of the Sarbox project went extraordinarily well when the clients in question (a) responded immediately, and (b) agreed emphatically with all my recommendations.
It's not yet 10 AM and I've run out of things to do around here. Figures.
Neither the bluebird of happiness nor the chicken of despair will be visiting today. I suspect the turkey buzzard of boredom is flapping his way in my direction as I type this.
