Unison 2006

I've just faxed off our registrations for the Canadian Unison Festival in Vancouver, May 19-22, 2006. Since the GALA Choruses implosion last summer, this will be my best opportunity to catch up with all of my old Canadian friends & contacts from the LGBT choral movement. I haven't been back to Vancouver in 15 years or so... we're long overdue.

I'm also hoping to combine the trip with a quick down-the-west-coast trip to Seattle & Portland to see friends & family but we have a few months to iron out those details yet.

Now to make hotel reservations...

Utilikilt peer pressure

My friend Jeff is stepping up the pressure to get me to buy a utilikilt. Dunno why, he just thinks I'd look good in it. Knowing Jeff, that may just be his subtle way of saying the rest of my wardrobe really sucks.

His latest e-mail included the winners of the utilikilt promo contest. Skip the first three (they're kinda lame) and go directly to the winner at the bottom of the list. Not badly done at all.
