This was attached to the freight elevator at my office this morning.

Elevator repair and English spelling are separate skillsets. Elevator repair and English spelling are separate skillsets.

My boss should be in elevator repair.

He gave an us an agenda for yesterday's meeting.

It should say:

"Rosie wins Excellence Award."

His agenda:

"Rosi wins Excellance award."

Sign from the grocery store yesterday "On Sale - cretified Angus Beef". Since I don't know much about cretification (similar to smoking maybe?) I passed on that.

My building has had a notice by the garbage disposal room advising people on how to use it so that it can "effectivally" be cleaned. It's been up for months. :)

In our office building in Tech Square, the building management used to post memos explaining something or other about building maintenance complete with spelling and grammar errors. Once I wrote a memo in their style on a their letter head about elevator passes being needed to use the elevator under certain conditions and posted in in various spots.

Several people complained to me (I was a manager in our organization) about the outrageous building policy described in the letter.
