Dinner with Friends

bjarvisJeffrey R (formerly of Baltimore, MD, but now residing in Fort Lauderdale, FL when he's in North America at all) was in town this past week on a work-related assignment. We have a vast number of friends in common, including Ed T., whom we haven't seen in months thanks to his own extensive travel and our manic schedule.

kent4str and I convened at Annie's Steakhouse in DC for dinner before wandering up the street for an ice cream dessert.
I wish we could have more time with them but alas, it was a school night and this is yet another insane week of projects. We were home by 10 PM (and then spent a half-hour assisting the neighbour across the street who locked his keys in his car) before attempting a full night's sleep.
