bjarvisSunday was productive, although not in the fashion I had previously planned.
In the early afternoon, we went out for grocery shopping: the stores were an utter zoo but we survived the experience. We didn't get to the yard work thanks to our aversion to heat & humidity. Still, I changed the bed linens, caught up on some laundry and ironed a stack of shirts which has been taunting me for weeks.
After a short nap in the late afternoon, I found the energy to grill some burgers on the barbecue for dinner.
I read through much of the evening, catching up on back issues of Harper's, the latest Zip Coder, the latest American Square Dance magazine and a handful of other bits of paper which have been cluttering the coffee table. I need more downtime like this... I'll have to find a small window in my calendar to do this again some time.
