kent4str has been looking to acquire a new toy, and last night he bought it: a new MacBook.Yes, he's converted to the Apple side of life and is now the proud owner of a 2 GHz (Intel Dual Core) MacBook (white shell, $150 cheaper than the black shell), 1 GB of RAM, 80 GB hard drive, SuperDrive with Bluetooth and wireless networking. He spent a little extra for a wireless super mouse, MS Office and Parallels to run Windows apps when needed.
If they offered discounts for purchasing more than one at a time, I would have bought one for myself but my need for a new laptop hasn't yet overcome my resistance to such a large layout of cash (about $2200). Perhaps for my birthday next January. :-)
