My parents at least have the wills and powers-of-attorney created. That said, Dad is barely mobile so he can't live alone; Mom can't drive so she'd be trapped in their house if she were alone. Both refused to get on the wait list for a seniors' apartment or facility, and they steadfastly refuse to modify their house to make it more disabled-friendly. They've painted themselves into a beautiful corner. Morons.
