Thus, while I would have preferred more time to observe and internalize the local culture, I was launched immediately into dancing and was on the floor all save one tip (the software cycled me out that particular session) through the evening. Into the deep end of the pool! :-)
This was a GOOD thing! You said you were there to get some A2 floor time, so that's what you got. A2 is one of John's best levels - he comes up with all sorts of gimmicks and variations, but, as you said, cues them to help so the dancers have great success. Glad you had fun.
