It's Back!

bjarvisOn Feb 9, I sent my camera off for cleaning and servicing.
Within two days of sending it, I received a letter from Olympus indicating that since it wasn't under warranty, it would be a prix-fixe repair of $160 USD. Since I've been ecstatically happy with the camera since![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kent4str gave it to me for xmas a couple of years ago and I couldn't get a comparable unit for less than about $350, I happily paid the fee.
Today, the camera was returned to me in the mail. As near as I can tell, it's in ideal working order once again. The only test I can't conduct is an outdoor shot in bright sunlight as our weather today is extremely grey & gloomy. Still, I'm confident all is well once again. Yay!
