I'm not sure what Kent was doing while you guys were in line, but if he wanted to stand in line with you, I think that all the roller coaster kind of attractions have a way to just skip the ride part & proceed to the exit. Since the ride part usually lasts only a few minutes and the waiting takes much longer, that would give him more time to socialize with others. On the other hand, he may have been off having fun in other ways?
