Entering Registrations

bjarvisI didn't get done everything I planned for tonight, but I did catch up on the backlog of registrations for the upcoming 2009 IASGDC convention. Having entered 28 new registrations, we now officially have 327 registrations.
There's about a dozen who have registered online but haven't yet mailed a check. It's a situation I hadn't considered previously: I'm going to have to set a deadline by which payment is to be received to hold online registrations. In the interim, I'll send friendly reminders to the folks outstanding for 30 days or more as of May 1.
Our hotel should start accepting reservations as of tomorrow but knowing Marriott chain, I'm not entirely sure that will be the case... their reservations system is ancient, quirky and not overly reliable. We'll try making our room reservation tomorrow and will be making a major announcement on the web site and lgcwsd list as soon as we have a successful reservation.
