The replacement motherboard I bought on eBay for my ailing old Linux box arrived Friday. Saturday afternoon, I transplanted it into the server, added an extra 256 MB DIMM and crossed my fingers: all worked as planned. So far, the machine has passed all diagnostics test and burn-in. Yay!

This weekend, I also found some time to get Majordomo (a mailing list management application), Majorcool (web front-end for Majordomo) and ClamAV (an anti-viral package) on the new SuSE Linux box functioning correctly. It's looking good although I still haven't got SpamAssassin, a spam filtering package, working properly. Hopefully, I'll find some time later in the week to get that sorted out.
