Current Reading

In the past week, I've read three different histories of Scotland. All end badly.

Last night, I finished a book on a history of fusion energy research. It ends badly.

I'm currently half-way through a book on modes of faulty thinking. Things aren't looking good for humanity at the moment.

I suppose I should read something even marginally uplifting, just for a change. Then again, that really isn't my style, is it?

How about...

"The Annotated Alice"?
"Wizard of OZ"?
John Varley's "Titan/Wizard/Demon"?
Almost anything by Robert Heinlein?
"Flatland"
"The Planiverse" (which postulates a vertical version of Flatland)?
