And the DC Snow-Related Suckage Just Keeps Coming!
The blizzard alert continues to 10pm tonight but high winds are staying with us until the early morning. Drifts of 5 feet are possible. *sigh*
The federal gov't is shut down again Thursday.
No transit buses, no regional transit trains or buses, no above-ground subway stations. Nearly every local school system is going to be closed Friday as well as Thursday.
No mail delivery since last Friday.
The outage map of our local electrical utility is better than this morning: there are still relatively light outages around north-eastern DC, Potomac and Fort Washington.
We're supposed to get sunshine and above-freezing temperatures for Thursday through Sunday but there is a chance of more snow next Monday. Joy.
