Xmas Shopping, Phase 1
I've finished purchasing gifts for the nieces and nephew in Canada:
- Daniel, age 7, gets Monster Jam Urban Assault for his Nintendo DS. Not my first choice, but his parents recommended it so if he grows into an axe murderer, I'm off the hook.
- Ashley, age 4, gets a "super colouring set" of crayons, pencils and markers. I'm not sure if she knows she's not supposed to draw on the walls, but it's not my house so what's the worst that can happen?
- Kaylee, age 4, gets a set of four small plush dogs. She likes plush items, she likes dogs. Two-for-one win for me. I just wish I could have found something suitably noisy which eats batteries for lunch in the same genre.
- Anna, age 1, gets a tub of megablocks. The blocks are brightly coloured and should stack well without being small enough to eat. They are, however, large & heavy enough to do damage when she learns how to throw them in a few more months.
Now I just have to worry about something for Spawn-of-

We sold her baby-appropriate Legos at the yard sale this summer. She'd probably go for age-4-appropriate legos or Tinker Toys.

I went to get the labels printed for the cards this morning, and discovered that the software has decided to apparently print on file-folder labels, and I can't figger out how to change that. while what I should be doing [ie what the university is paying me to do] is marking the term tests.
and you're at least four prezzies ahead of me.
