Wendel Clark Honoured in Toronto

I never cared much for hockey, but when I lived in Toronto in the late 1980s and early 1990s, I would follow the Maple Leafs religiously, just for a view of Wendel Clark. *swoon*







The CBC reports he's being honoured in Toronto tonight.

There were always rumors that he was a poofer as well. I don't know how true it is.. but it would be nice!!

Yeah, I remember the rumours. I have no idea how much credence one can give them, but I can dream.

And stare longingly at the phone, waiting for him to call.
