Reason #247,281 Why I Hate Working From Reston, VA

Outside of the coconut-scented hand soap in all the mens' rooms, it rains a lot here. In fact, it has rained at our Reston office each day this week.

Worse, it appears to only rain for one hour: 12-1 PM. Bastards.

It could be worse - it could be the FLORAL, and I do mean FLORAL scented soap in the Bally's showers. Why do gyms insist on using such feminine scented soaps even in the men's room.
Oh, and it's been dry in Silver Spring all week, except today.

Send some rain this way! We haven't had measurable precip in 3 weeks and what with the 5% humidity and the dry winds, it's NOT promoting lovely facial skin tones!

The rain is at least keeping the incredibly high pollen count under control; my breathing is vastly better than last week, thank god.

.... and, even with all of the rain that we have had, the weather service is still saying that some of the area is still 5-7" of rain below normal. In other words, we're still dry here too.

Well, I guess I'm glad it's not raining INSIDE of the coconut-scented hand soap...

I love the soap in the building I work in now. It smells faintly -- and FAINTLY is KEY with any scent, I find -- of almonds. Perfect.

It's probably cyanide-laced soap.

What's that faint high-pitched sound I hear? Oh, it's whining, from far away... :-)

Maybe the fly-in will get your mind off how the world is out to get you through the diabolically mundane tools of hand soap and raindrops.

I need to whine... at the moment, it's the only thing keeping me awake. *sigh*

So having lunch with you would be like, whining and dining? Oh, I just realized you already had lunch; dang time zones.

On the other hand, coconut is a turn-on for some people.

It must be for the corporate purchasing agent. :-^

I've never liked coconut. I suspect I was whacked with one as a child as that would explain my aversion as well as a great number of other issues.
