Publicity Shot

One of the little indulgences I allowed myself at the CALLERLAB conference earlier this week was a formal publicity shot. They had a photographer available and for $20, I had a sheet of the following photos produced which I can now use for business cards and my web site.

BTW, we're planning to have the same photography opportunity at our 2009 IAGSDC convention... some of our staff callers desperately need new & current photos. We're also planning to extend the opportunity to our GCA members and especially attendees of the GCA caller school.

You've been talking to [livejournal.com profile] bearfuz, haven't you? :-)

Too much facial hair for a Mormon Elder. More like a Mormon Honeydew.

No, wait, that doesn't work. Honeydew isn't a tree.

Never mind. I retract the joke. It was stupider than usual.

(Except I've never seen a Mormon Elder who was that cute AND who had facial hair.)

I was thinking of the old-timey ones -- wagon trains and all that -- not the moderns.

I think you've got the right time-period. I was thinking Abraham Lincoln in later years(*), when the head-hair starts to thin (and no [apparent] moustache)

(*)which, sadly, never came to be, mr booth and all that.

go on, brian, try it with a stovepipe hat.

. . . so, tell me, mrs lincoln, other than that, what did you think about the play?

I thought Honeydew was a doctor at Muppet Labs, where the future is being made today.SM

And he didn't have any facial hair, either. That makes my original comment doubly stupid. :)

Too many clothes.

An all-too-common problem!

Not as yet. Mr. Feldman is taking care of that operation; as of Thursday, he had no news for us.
