Hardly. You can still see the evergreen needles, so it's not tarted up much beyond the fives, actually.

You can hardly blame us for a blooming house plant! And I decided that the tree is actually done - I was going to add tinsel, but the bother of having to remove it before recycling convinced me it was fine as is.

maybe your apprehension about the season is more justified than I thought -- given that someone went postal at the shopping mall in omaha.
