Last Weekend's Square Dancing

We had a tiring but fun time in Lake Harmony, PA, last weekend, square dancing with the Independence Squares.

I did even less dancing than I have at prior events but recorded a lot of research material, had fun calling my own A1 half-hour block and had a blast square dancing in the swimming pool. Selected photos are on my web site.

And dive thru. Yup, we were indeed square dancing in the swimming pool. This is the 4th time the Philly fly-in has been in Lake Harmony and we've used the pool for an hour of square dancing on Saturday night each time. It's an utter blast! Mercifully, the music is slowed down by 30% or so... it takes a lot of energy to plow through the water, even though we're only waist deep for the dancing.

A lot of folks dress up for Saturday night dance. There might have been a theme by the organizers but I wasn't paying much attention: my grasp on reality is tenuous enough without funny costumes.

Nice pictures, but as usual, you're behind the camera much more than in front of it, although, Kent did take some nice pictures of you in the pool.
