Cravings

I need a cheeseburger. I don't know why, I just do.

Last night, the last of my old NIS+ servers were powered down and retired. I'll declare the burger to be a celebration of this project being completed. Celebration calories don't count, right?

If you drive across a state line to have a Whopper, then the calories never count.

And vacation calories don't count either.

Reading about your cravings for a cheeseburger, triggered my own cravings.

I just polished off a burger with blue cheese and sauteed mushrooms and a side of onion rings for lunch.

Yum! Thanks for the idea. :)

Always happy to be of service. Hmm... now I crave a chocolate sundae...

there is nothing bad or wrong about chocolate. just finished a Caramel Filled Nestle Crunch (heaven in a wrapper)...

enjoy it while you can, m'dear. Once you turn forty your metabolism will change, and you'll start putting weight on for all those burgers and chocolate sundaes. Why, you might even have your fingers swell somewhat so your rings won't go on easily...

the evidence is there!

just a happy thought for you from a 53yr old friend, whose waistline went up 2" within 6mo of my 40th birthday. Hasn't increased since, but there was a noticeable change in the metabolism.

So for those of us who've, uh, beared-up in our 30s, 40's another milestone for the metabolism? Shoot me now.

naaah, it just means you were ahead of me. you did it in your 30s, I waited until I entered the fifth decade. day late and a dollar short, that's me.

Celebration calories don't count.
Vacation calories don't count.
Holiday calories don't count.

And cookies have no calories if you break them in half before eating. All the calories fall out.

And calories can't cross state lines. It's in the constitution... look it up! :-)

And since DC's not a state, does that mean all food imported into DC is calorie-free?

[identity profile] bjarvis.livejournal.com 2006-11-17 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Uh, sure, let's go with that.
