Another Day, Another ¥47,372

On the whole, the past couple of days have been fairly boring.

Work has been motoring on with little variation from day to day, although I've been spending more time with a new hire who will be come our UNIX primary point-of-contact, working from our Urbana location.

Last night's C1 workshop was the first square dancing I've done since mid-December. I'm happy to report my mental lapses on some calls were relatively few. Attendance at our new location at the Barkley in Arlington was up: we had 9 dancers, not bad considering we didn't have [livejournal.com profile] kent4str joining us. He was prepared for it but was off his feed towards the late afternoon and decided it would be better to avoid social situations where he might spread a potential bug. He seemed better in the evening but the snoring overnight drove me down the hall to the guestroom just after 2 AM.

I've been feeling a little lackluster myself, but I'm writing that off as an accumulating sleep deficit rather than a bug of any kind. A good night's sleep and I'll be fine. Until then, I'll struggle to stay awake in my cube.
