Dinner with Friends

Jeffrey R (formerly of Baltimore, MD, but now residing in Fort Lauderdale, FL when he's in North America at all) was in town this past week on a work-related assignment. We have a vast number of friends in common, including Ed T., whom we haven't seen in months thanks to his own extensive travel and our manic schedule.

Tuesday night, each of them and kent4str and I convened at Annie's Steakhouse in DC for dinner before wandering up the street for an ice cream dessert.

I wish we could have more time with them but alas, it was a school night and this is yet another insane week of projects. We were home by 10 PM (and then spent a half-hour assisting the neighbour across the street who locked his keys in his car) before attempting a full night's sleep.

And Ed is a Mac guy! :-) He's the one who sold me his old iMac.

Jeff's a creatively costumed GNI guy. I usually see him at the rodeo too, but didn't catch him there this year.
