Back from shopping...

Why do so many of the other shoppers at Whole Paycheck Whole Foods appear to be competing a Ted Kaczynski look-alike contest?

At our local 'Natural Foods' store I'm always struck by the number of people who are shopping there to avoid chemicals in their food yet seem to have no reservation about treating their hair with them. That shade of purple is not a 'natural vegetable dye'.

As for the Ted Kaczynski look-alikes, I think it's because they think like him. They don't shop for organics because they're better for the environment or healthier, but because they're scared of the technologically produced alternatives.
