Another Task Done
Yesterday, I finalized the application for tax exempt status as a charitable organization (in IRS parlance, a 501(c)(3) org) for DC Diamond Circulate Inc., the organizing corporation which will host the April, 2009 IAGSDC square dance convention.
Last night after square dancing, I prepared a file copy for my own paper records and duplicates for the other two corporate officers. Electronic copies are already backed up; the backups are stored in a safe place off-site.

kent4str dropped the package into the mail en route to our legal advisor for review and submission to the IRS. Since our lawyer has the required power of attorney to respond to queries from the IRS on our behalf, my work on that particular task is essentially complete. At least, it's done until the IRS generates questions our lawyer can't answer. :-)
Now onwards to creating project plans...
