I arrived at work to discover that our regular Unix primary point-of-contact has called in sick and my boss as designated me to be his replacement for the day shift, 8 AM to 11 PM.
This would not be a problem except that I'm calling a square dance in Baltimore and will be unavailable from 6 PM onwards. Figures. At least my pager hasn't started screaming so far this morning.
On the good side, I couldn't sleep last night so I scribbled up some fresh A2 material for tonight's dance. Half is easy A2, the rest is just hard enough to push the envelope of some of our weaker dancers.
