DC's new plus square dance class starts Saturday!

For all of you who have patiently waited for this year's Plus class, your wait is just about over. Commencing on January 28, class will be held in the Barkley on Jan 28th, February 4, and 11th. Warren Jaquith is teaching this class, which will feature fast-track Saturdays. Class runs from 10a 'til 4p with a break for lunch. Cost is $75, payable the first day of class.

I'm planning to angel at the 1st & 3rd classes. See you there!

Plus in 3 weeks, it is has been so long since I learned plus but I cannot imagine learning C2 in 3 weeks. Hope it goes well.

What does 'angel' mean in this context?

An angel is an experienced dancer who already knows the level and therefore can teamed with a newbie dancer to provide minor assistance & gentle guidance. Angels are also important for introducing new people to the crowd, assisting the caller/instructor when asked and generally being good hosts/hostesses.
