Stupid Conversation of the Morning

Co-worker: Are you actually eating chocolate cake for lunch?
Me (savouring a slice of cake): Of course not! I'm having it for breakfast, silly.

It just strikes me a downright odd that my kidneys bitch at me every 15 years or so but my pancreas --which has vastly more reason to complain on a daily basis-- has been blissfully quiet. Probably a case of learned helplessness and despair.
