I learned over the weekend that the Wyndham Hotel in Washington DC, where local embarrasment & former mayor Marion Barry was caught using cocaine in an FBI sting operation in the 1990s, is the same hotel which decided last fall not to honour our contract for our advanced & challenge square dance fly-in.

Who knew?

Huh? The Anaheim Marriott has king beds. Or so says the webpage...

When I called both the international reservation hotline and the hotel's own front desk, they informed me they had only queen beds. Neither could tell me what the bedding arrangements were like in the suites and neither had a record of a group rate for the suites. In short, I'm unimpressed with their customer service.
