Harry Freakin' Potter

After a tonne of e-mail, numerous conversations and reading some LiveJournal entries, I've come to the conclusion that I am not only the sole human being left on the planet who hasn't read the latest Harry Potter book, but am possibly the only person who hasn't ready any of them and doesn't really care much about them one way or another.

Just thought I'd mention it. Nothin' much else going on today.

All I can do is congratulate you for your fortitude! I bent under peer pressure. It must have been a really sexy guy that coerced me!

(currently, I'm trying to catch up and reading a page or so a day at home of book 5 before falling asleep from utter boredom).

I, too, have not read either the last one, nor any of those preceding. I have also only seen one of the movies - and only because of huge pressure from my hubby. Likewise, I'm not much better on the whole Star Wars thing.

Let's start a club. Might just be the 2 of us.

I read the first one several years ago (I found it at a house where I was spending the weekend). I liked it OK, but I didn't feel the need to read any more of them, and I haven't.

Of course, that might change... but not during baseball season. Who has time to read?

When the Sox pulled off their win last season, I immediately thought of you & John. And that it was also a sign of the apocalypse. :-)
