Personal Indulgences
I was in a mood this afternoon so I went for a little drive around 1 PM, landing at the mall a few miles up the road from work. I wasn't really looking to go shopping, I just wanted a change of scenery from staring at my laptop screen, waiting for various people to get back to me with information.
JC Penny had a sale on belts. Since my only formal belt is looking a little ratty and my casual belt is a little large on me currently, I got two new nice black leather belts. Nice.
Dairy Queen had a huge poster advertising their girl scout thin mint blizzard. Having just downed a medium-sized version of the same, I heartily recommend this product. If I do this too often though, I may need to go back to my larger sized belts again...

Do you think they're made with real girl scouts?

On my way into a supermarket, I once had to pass a table of young blonde girl scouts looking so adorable as their mothers looked on. One precocious little adorable girls asked me if I wanted to buy any girl scout cookies.
I took it upon myself to use the line. I leaned down close to her and smiled. “Are they made with real girl scouts?”
She got very annoyed. “Like I haven't heard that a hundred times today.”
I stood up and looked over at the moms. “Tough crowd.”
And yes, it's still hilariously funny.
