Our county has a handful of photo radar vans which park randomly along certain streets, hoping to snap images of vehicles going faster than the posted speed limit.

This morning on I270 northbound, one of the vans passed me in the slow lane, going 65 mph in a 55 mph zone. I barely had time to grab my cell phone for this shot as he blew past me:

'Nuf said.

Although its everywhere - there is a traffic light at a major intersection near my apt that is notorious for the number of tickets - and at $70/ticket, that racks up big bucks quickly. However, I can imagine how many fender benders there are by people trying to beat the yellow light, or hoping someone is right behind you so THEY get the ticket and you escape - this time. ;-)
