Another hot day

The temperature is supposed to exceed 90 degrees F today, and the humidity is so thick I nearly swam to work.

There is a chance of rain this evening. I'm going to force that probability to 100% by taking my car to be washed at lunchtime. Locals can thank me for ending our drought at their convenience.

If you can't arrange for lower humidity next time, I'm not coming back! And I gather we're not making it to your C1 this evening despite the obvious charms of the caller.

Well of course it's going to be warm in DC today. It's still warm in Cleveland, and DC is south of that. And everybody knows that the south is always hotter than the north.

Mid-90's here in the piedmont of NC today. Supposed to set some record highs today and tomorrow. Boo...

Ugh... thank god for air conditioning.

Did I miss the memo where fall & winter were officially cancelled?

didn't you hear? there's No Such Thing as global warming.

I need to correct an earlier post - it IS warmer than usual here in Trawna. today it's around 30C, warmest thanksgiving ever on record. normally it's 15C. I'm ever-so-glad my building hasn't switched yet from cooling to heating.

In way it is like fall...., it's not in the 100's any more. :p

This weather is just adding insult to injury with the official "Exceptional Drought" status we had placed upon us last Thursday.
