Lunch Musings
I love bananas. Outside of
cuyahogarvr and
kent4str, they're probably my favourite fruit.
Bananas by themselves, banana bread, banana muffins, banana ice cream... it's all wonderful.
I generally prefer my chocolate uncontaminated with misc fruit flavourings but I make an exception for bananas. Bananas dipped in dark chocolate fondue, chocolate chips in banana muffins... Mmmmm.
OK, the carbon footprint for importing them is astronomical, but since I don't drink coffee --another huge carbon offender-- I don't feel too bad.
Just sayin'.

I'm not one for coffee either (okay, I do Fivebucks from time to time, but I'd be just as happy with diet pop). My carbon footprint excesses are avocadoes and mangoes. Mmmm....

Kinda neutral on avocadoes... I don't perceive much flavour and the texture is uninteresting. Mangoes, however, are fabulous. And honeydew melons. And lemons, limes, pears and peaches. I'm a fruit freak. :-)

you wear jammies?
(no, for moi (unlike Marilyn), the answer to the question "what do you wear to bed" is NOT "Chanel number 5, of course")

The last time I owned jammies was when I was 21 and had had a car smunch, followed within hours by the surgical removal of my (by this point ruptured) spleen. I was in hospital for 3wks, and my mum brought me jammies, which I appreciated, much better than the indignighties Scarborough General was providing.
These days, if it's cold, I might wear a Tshirt or sweatshirt to bed. And if I'm unwell (and getting the chills), or in a group where being clothed is appropriate, I'll wear sweats.
but I'm in bed ALONE in those situations. I find that if there are 2 in the bed, it's pretty warm, and I don't need (much less want) clothing in the way. And, as you say, cuddling skin-to-skin is much more fun.
N in the bed / and the little one said / roll over! roll over! / so they all rolled over / and one fell out / there were (N-1) in the bed / and the little one said ...

This was my favourite song as a little kid, and I would always make my aunties sing it to me.
I'll wear shorts and a t-shirt if I'm crashing on someone's sofa, but generally, prefer to be nekkid in bed.
That said, one time I was sharing a hotel room with 3 friends, two each in a bed. We woke up, and after showers, David made sure he had on gym shorts and a t-shirt, Peter and I were in boxers and no shirts, and Dean was completely naked. Needless to say, Dean and I had shared a bed that night. And we did more than just sleep.

most amusing.
though I must allow, slut that I am, I'd've been tempted to ask if I could join in.

Dean and I waited until we were damn sure our roommies were asleep, and even then, one woke up. Apparently the noise we made in the shower the next morning woke one of them up, too.
*sigh*
And slut that I am, I would have said "yes".
