Lazy Days

I've been very lazy the past 24 hours and I'm loving every minute of it.

We had the option of attending happy hour last night but opted instead ot stay in, have dinner and catch up on TV. In particular, we watched part one of the Dr Who season finale recorded last Friday, then the second part as it was broadcast on the SciFi channel last night. Great fun!

cuyahogarvr worked his massage magic on my aching-but-much-better back last night and I curled up with a good book for an hour before drifting off to sleep.

With the exception of a huge electrical storm which swept through around 5 AM waking me up, I slept very soundly. So much so, in fact, that I opted to sleep in until closer to 10 AM. Ahhhh...

So far today, the extent of working involved pushing me through the shower, making myself a sandwich for lunch and telephoning tdjohnsn to wish him a happy birthday. I'm just now setting up some system updates on various computers along with anti-virus sweeps, then we're off to a barbecue for the rest of the day in Alexandria, VA.
