Lazy Sunday

My Sunday could be described in two parts, neither of which were particularly exciting but nice in their own way.

I didn't sleep in as much as I did on Saturday. At some point around 9:30 AM, my body decided it had had enough rest and it was time to get up. OK, the batteries are charged to 100% but I wasn't exactly bubbling over with enthusiasm.

Bathroom work continues. )

Went to see Over The Hedge )

Mongolian barbecue for dinner )

And Brian gets a Utilikilt )

Today won't be half as exciting... I have a stack of meetings through the late morning and early afternoon with a dental cleaning at 3:15 PM. Whee. :-^

Sudden Awkwardness

I just realized while I'm feeling very, very strange at the moment: I have nothing to do.

I've caught up on e-mail, finished off reports which were required, updated LJ :-), and a small list of other activities, but my to-do list is now completely blank.

Rather, my to-do list has a long list of tasks still to finish, but every one of those tasks is on hold pending information from other people, me being at the other office, meetings scheduled for later today, etc.. They're all in a wait state, dependent on some outside event or trigger.

This feels really, really wierd. Unnatural, even.

Ick.
