It's been an odd day already...
This morning, I'm working out of our Reston, VA, office... my big documentation project is being launched this morning with a meeting with the technical writer assigned to me. I'm very early for that meeting but traffic around DC sucks so badly and I despise bumper-to-bumper traffic so I beat the rush by getting here at an ungodly hour.
So far, I've cleaned up a number of issues from the night shift and written a job description for a technical writer for one of my directors. I'm a little confused... don't we have such a description on hand? How did we hire the other ones currently working for us if we didn't? I suspect this is one of those questions I'm not supposed to ask openly...
Of late, I've had a series of interesting dreams. Most of my dreaming is typically fragmented, a series of short, non-linear narratives which pop in & out of my head across the course of the night. The past week or so, I've had extended stories, one per night, each tremendously detailed.

I'm not sure why my dreams have been so detailed of late, but they're kinda fun. I like the coherence and leisurely pace. I just hope that nightmares, should they arise, aren't as long & intricate.
