*SQUEAL*!!!

A surprise was waiting in the mail at home for me.

Noting what a miserable time I've been having at work over the past few weeks, [livejournal.com profile] tdjohnsn sent me a gift card for Cold Stone Creamery!

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!

Guess what we're having for dessert tonight!

PS to [livejournal.com profile] tdjohnsn: Looking forward to thanking you appropriately when I next get a chance... :-)

When you come to Boston, we are so taking you on the Walking Ice Cream Tour.
Herrell's
Toscanini's
Christina's
La Dolce Vita
JP Licks

Used to be more of them (there were at one point 8 stops on the tour, but they've been closed, swallowed up, etc).

You up for it?

Mmmmm... Toscanini's...

I've already had him there and I think he still dreams about it.

But I won't be trying the Guiness Stout Ice Cream again. It was just weird.

Alas, Denise's, which was the only other place that made the Guiness Stout Ice Cream no longer exists. Tosci's is catch as catch can. I dream of the day when they have their black plumb ice cream again.

Christina's used to make clam chowder ice cream.

I've been told that the JP Licks cucumber is actually pretty good.

You up for it?

Yes! And for the ice cream too! :-)
