The chimp made famous by the Tarzan movies of the 1930-40s has celebrated his 74th birthday. I hope I look half as good when I reach the same age.

In the wild, they certainly don't; in captivity, this is definitely a longer lifespan than is typical.

For that matter, I think this is an exceptional age for a retired movie star of any species.
