New Glasses

I had a routine eye exam last week. My new glasses and contact lenses arrived today. The new frames are very similar in appearance & style to my prior glasses:

In all, it was a good report from the examination. My left eye is slightly weaker while surprisingly my right eye is slightly stronger than my prior prescription --my left has always required a stronger prescription. No astigmatism, no glaucoma, no retinal or corneal issues.

The good doctor indicated however that I've reached the age (44!) that I might find reading glasses will help ease eye strain when I'm wearing my contact lenses. Any commodity glasses at the intro level of 1.0 would be adequate. Now that I have my new contacts, I'll try on some reading glasses the next time I visit a pharmacy.
