Best Laid Plans

I was planning to go to the data center to get some much needed work completed today.

After being encased in ice & snow for the past couple of days, I'm sure my car was happy to be free & mobile once again, even if I was straining my back to make it possible. Certainly after being housebound since Tuesday evening, I was ready to get out into the world again for at least a few hours.

It was not to be.

It is snowing yet again and while it isn't enough to normally be a bother, I noticed that beltway traffic was moving sluggishly at best. I can drive in the snow: I just don't want to drive in the snow while surrounded by morons who have no idea how to drive in the snow. I especially don't want to be trapped out in traffic hell when I have two must-attend meetings this afternoon and must drive to BWI to collect kent4str (presuming his flight is on time).

Perhaps I can get to the data center tonight or early tomorrow morning. *sigh*
