Xmas Atrocity

Yesterday afternoon, we drove into Virginia, unpackaged this little wonder from its box, fluffed it a little and left it on our friend's porch while he was at an appointment across town:

We now await his revenge.

Xmas Atrocities, Part II

I've finished with my xmas cards for the season. I'm doing only a very, very limited set this year: just the immediate family. Call it budget cutbacks, call it a lack of time, call it whatever... I just don't have the resources to do the 100+ cards as in prior seasons.

In other nightmares, [livejournal.com profile] kent4str and [livejournal.com profile] cuyahogarvr got the xmas tree and decorations out of storage. It's now assembled and we hope to have it decorated gradually over the next few days as time permits.

This is our first year with an artificial tree. Click here for the tree-hunting safari of 2006 or here for 2007
