Michael worries about Maurita's health, but I think to excess this time around. In 2015, this was all new to us and we had no idea what was going to happen. In 2017, we have experience, she knew to look up specialists in high-risk pregnancies, she has weekly checkups, we collectively have the extended family safety nets in place, and we're as prepared as anyone can be.
I'm actually relaxing at this point. Having taken every possible advance precaution, there is nothing else we can do but wait & watch, letting nature take its course: I'm at peace with our work to this point and am confident all will end well. If we had not prepared for obvious risks, I'd be vastly more anxious.
